Dallas Vs.Tampa Bay

Way back in August, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers looked like a team capable of making a deep playoff run. Chris Simms, the young quarterback formerly of the University of Texas, seemed to come of age after guiding the Bucs into the 2005 postseason, and the rest of the cast appeared up to the challenge of taking another step or two. Instead, Simms struggled early, then was lost for the season to a ruptured spleen. The team stumbled to a 2-6 record at the midway point, and putting any kind of happy spin on the remainder of a ruined season may be a tall order. The Cowboys know something about unrealized expectations, of course, suffering through a midseason quarterback change and that shocking meltdown in the final seconds at Washington. Who will be the bigger turkey on Thanksgiving Day?

Detroit Vs. Miami Dolphins

In what has been an up-and-down season for the Lions, at least they can count on one thing: Football on Thanksgiving day. This year's holiday tradition features the lowly Dolphins coming to Ford Field -- which may be an early Christmas present for Kevin Jones, Roy Williams and company. Detroit looks to get a rare win against a familiar face -- Miami quarterback Joey Harrington was the Lions' signal-caller for the past few years.
